Lechtal Aktiv Card

The Lechtal Aktiv Card offer is valid from 14 May to 26 October 2026.

Regiobus
Public transport is very important in the Tyrolean Lechtal valley! It takes you free of charge to the most beautiful hiking destinations between Steeg and Reutte and even goes as far as Lech am Arlberg. Its route also takes you to the Lechtal side valleys of Kaisers, Gramais, Hinterhornbach, Bschlabs/Boden and over the Hahntennjoch to Imst.

Excluding bike transport: £5.00 per bike/e-bike per day.

Summer mountain railways
With the Lechtal Aktiv Card, you can also travel free of charge or at greatly reduced prices on fast routes into the heart of the impressive mountain world of the Allgäu and Lechtal Alps. Card holders can travel once per day and per railway free of charge or at a reduced rate on the open summer railways in Bach, Reutte, Warth and Lech am Arlberg.

Frei- & Hallenbäder
Zu stark ermäßigten Preisen geht es mit der Lechtal Aktiv Card ins Frei- oder Hallenbad! Mit diesen attraktiven Preisen locken das Freibad in Bach/Elbigenalp, in der idyllischen Lechtaler Gemeinde Häselgehr sowie das großzügig angelegte Naturerlebnis- bad „Badino“ in Vorderhornbach mit Natursprungfelsen, Liane und Spielbach. Wer lieber indoor badet, kann mit der Aktiv Card das Hallenbad „Aqua Nova“ in Steeg und die „Alpentherme Ehrenberg“ in Reutte preisreduziert besuchen.

Biking in the Lech Valley

The well-developed Lech Cycle Path runs along the turquoise-blue Lech River through picturesque villages, lush meadows and impressive natural surroundings.

Gravelbiken

Hiking around the LechZeit

The many hut hikes in the region are particularly popular. Well-marked trails lead you to rustic alpine huts and mountain huts serving food, where you will be rewarded with regional specialities and magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. Whether it's a short hike to the nearest alpine pasture or an extended day trip – there is a suitable route for everyone here.

A special highlight is the Lechweg, one of the most beautiful long-distance hiking trails in Europe. The trail leads along the wild and romantic Lech river through impressive nature, past unspoilt villages, wide gravel banks and spectacular landscapes. Many of our guests use LechZeit as an ideal starting point for individual stages or relaxed day hikes along this unique trail.

In addition to classic mountain tours and the Lechweg, there are numerous other options around the LechZeit: panoramic trails, family hikes, themed trails or leisurely walks along the river.

Crystal clear water and unspoilt nature

The turquoise Plansee, one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in Tyrol, is particularly well known. Surrounded by high mountains, it is ideal for swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, boating or leisurely walks along the shore. Right next to it is the idyllic Heiterwanger See, which delights visitors with its peaceful location and impressive views of the Alps.

Smaller natural gems are also waiting to be discovered: Lake Urisee is a popular swimming lake with particularly pleasant water temperatures. Somewhat hidden and quiet, the romantic Lake Frauensee is ideal for a relaxing trip into nature.

A highlight is the emerald green Lake Vilsalpsee in the Tannheimer Valley, one of the most beautiful natural lakes in the Alps. Surrounded by impressive peaks and numerous hiking trails.

Another highlight not to be missed is the idyllic Baggersee lake in Weißenbach. This popular natural swimming lake delights visitors with its clear water, spacious sunbathing lawns and magnificent mountain backdrop. Especially on warm summer days, the Baggersee is the perfect place to cool off, sunbathe and relax. The calm water invites you to swim, while the surrounding nature creates a particularly relaxed atmosphere.

Whether for swimming on hot summer days, a leisurely bike ride or as the destination of a hike, the natural lakes in the Reutte district offer perfect opportunities for relaxation and unforgettable holiday moments in the Tyrolean mountains.

The Lech, Europe's last wild river
